Transportation

Title III Transportation Services are delivered by five unit-rate contracts serving seven of the Coastal Bend counties. Kleberg, Aransas, and Live Oak counties provide all transportation through their rural pubic transportation programs. In Corpus Christi and select surrounding areas, transportation is provided by the Regional Transportation Authority, including the RTA “B” Rideline for persons with disabilities that are not able to use the regular fixed rural services.

Aransas County Rural Public Transportation
Aransas and Rockport areas on Monday – Friday; Corpus Christi and Portland areas Wednesdays only. Wheelchair accessible, all transportation by appointment, 24 hour notice required. Appointments are scheduled between 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. To schedule an appointmentand get cost; call (361) 729-8007.

Bee County Community Action Agency
Bee, Live Oak, McMullen and Refugio counties, transportation services to general public for employment, medical appointments and shopping. 24 hour advance notice required. Call 361-358-5530 or 1-800-358-5534.

Community Action Council of South Texas
Alice, Orange Grove, Benavides, San Diego, Freer, Realitos, and Concepcion, Self pay transportation for three clients or more. 24 hour notice required call (361) 256-3921 or Community Action Council of South Texas.

Kleberg County Human Services – Paisano Express
Kleberg and Kenedy Counties, Transportation only 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Corpus Christi trips only on Tuesday and Thursday. 24 hour notice required. 361-595-8574.

Live Oak
Live Oak, Requires few days to one week notice, call (361) 449-0989. For persons who are ambulatory only, not wheelchair assessable. '

Refugio County
